ABOUT ME

Nick has been writing in some way, shape, or form for more than two decades.  His first somewhat serious foray into writing began in high school with the publication of The Graffiti Review, an undeground newspaper/zine.  He also contributed a few miscellenous poems to various literary magazines while in both high school and college.  He was a reporter for The University Daily Kansan at The Univeristy of Kansas.  He was also an opinion column writer there.  This is Nick's second personal website.  He still has the entirety of the files from the first one he set up while attending KU, although he is still not sure exactly what he is going to do with the plethora of  low resolution .png and .mp4 files he still has from it.  He also wrote, recorded, and directed The Poetry Cafe, a poetry podcast for around two years. The audio files have been lost due to poor backup procedures, although the poems do survive.  Since the demise of The Poetry Cafe, Nick has continued to write as well as further explore his interests in music and photography.  He is currently taking a hiatus from both in order to focus more on his writing and that other thing called life.
